[1] December 2006 Luncheon
* Important Meeting *
Please Attend if Possible
The
Alaska Section of the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers, Inc. will hold its monthly luncheon
11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 20th , at the
Sourdough Mining Co. Restaurant, 5200 Juneau Street.
The
Alaska AELS Board will be presenting a panel discussion on
two very important issues to Alaska Engineers. The first
issue is how to implement the tracking of the newly required
CE credits. The board is making this effort because they
want our members feedback. It is important for as many
members to attend as possible. The second issue is the
new NCEES Model Law making it a requirement to have an
additional 30 undergraduate/graduate credit to sit for the
PE exam starting 2015. The panel will speak briefly on the
boards position opposing it, and what to expect to happen
between now and 2015.
